Where is Virginia's e-Region?

View Virginia's e-Region in a larger map

Virginia's e-Region is strategically located in southwestern Virginia and is one of the East Coast's new centers for electronic information technology, energy, education and emerging specialty manufacturing.

The region is rich in coal, gas and timber and has always been an energy leader. It is a region of mountains, rolling hills and wide-open valleys that cover 3,219 square miles.

Accessibility to Interstates 77, 81, 75, 64 and 26 make the region an ideal location to serve markets in both the East and Mid-America. Virginia's e-Region is strategically located midway between Atlanta-Pittsburgh, Charlotte-Cincinnati, and Richmond-Louisville, and is within a day's drive of more than half of the U.S. population.

Virginia's e-Region includes Buchanan, Dickenson, Lee, Russell, Scott, Tazewell and Wise counties and the City of Norton.
