Southwest Virginia’s e-Region Incentives Overview
There are a number of unique incentive and financing programs available in Southwest Virginia’s e-Region, all designed to encourage the creation of new jobs and economic diversification in the seven-county, one-city region which includes Buchanan, Dickenson, Lee, Russell, Scott, Tazewell, and Wise Counties and the City of Norton.
The Virginia Coalfield Economic Development Authority (VCEDA), which markets Southwest Virginia’s e-Region, operates several very unique incentive and financing programs. For further information on VCEDA’s programs, Click Here.
Other incentive and financing programs are operated by ally organizations including the Virginia Economic Development Partnership, the Virginia Tobacco Region Revitalization Commission, the Virginia Small Business Financing Authority, and a number of other organizations. INCENTIVE AND FINANCING INFO
Southwest Virginia's e-Region is marketed by the Virginia Coalfield Economic Development Authority - VCEDA - a regional economic development organization created by Virginia's General Assembly in 1988 to enhance and diversify the economic base of the seven-county, one-city, coal-producing region in southwestern Virginia. Since its creation, VCEDA has helped create more than 20,000 jobs.
